Darfur Genocide!!!

Topic: The Darfur genocide is a huge topic. I think it has a big influence on the world. But I think the one most to blame is maybe possibly sudanese govt. and China for supplying money and many weapons to the janjaweed. But also the sudanes gvt. for in the beginning asking china to provide the weapons to the janjaweed. But on the other hand the sudanese govt. are trying there best to bring in people to heal the wounded.

Reflection: So this week has gone by well. I went to the Belles Spring Show and it was abosolutely amazing!! all the dances were so intense and energetic.But on the downside TAKS is next week ugh!! But, we're doing a group thing in geo. about the shia, sunni, and kurds and that seems interesting.

the melting!!

This topic is I think on global warming. And i feel soo strongly about how we should all have hybrid cars or use some other substance to fill our tanks. But i think my entire community does something just to help even a little bit we all recycle and i know in my family we unplug all the things we dont use like the blender, toaster, things like we unplug things when we're not using them. And my school has a green club and they go around and pick upp our recycling bins from our classrooms and take them to the big recycling bin. We dont know it but our world is kindof slowly melting, so do everything you can for us the future generation. Even little things count. think about that

Hobbies!

My hobbies are to dance,cook,bake, and run. I love to dance because it's a great way to express yourself and emotions. I love to cook because cooking is filled with different kinds of culture and you can try so many new things from cooking new spices,flavors, cultures. I love baking because i love to try new things from it and baking someone something for someone might there day just even a little bit better.
And running is a great way to get your mind off things, and it adds years on to your life. These are my hobbies! what are yours???

reflection!

What I have been learning in school these past two weeks is about Russia. I recently had to take a test on it. But now we're going in to Africa. My class has to do political, and physical maps on the country. Our major project of this six-weeks will be to make some African masks made of very unique things like tree bark, clay, and other things.

star-crossed lovers??

I beleive that arranged marriages are so wrong. JUst because your the paren t doen't mean that you can take full control of you daughters, or sons, life. Saying that I think that it's better for you to fall in love and find your own way in life, with the wise advice your parents give you. But that doesn't mean take advantage. But if you are forced to marry someone and you do end up going against your parents wishes and they basically disown you because they're are so mad at you for not marrying the guy they wanted you to, I'm sure they'll come around. Well, I hope. Do you beleive that Juliet should have married Paris? Although she knew she would of been kicked out of her own house.
